On Sunday 15th May, Answer Cancer were proud to be the matchday charity support for the Salford Red Devils Rugby League team as they faced Leeds Rhinos at the AJ Bell Stadium. Our presence proved to be a lucky omen for the Red Devils as they came out on top 23-8. Pictured above is Hannah, our Answer Cancer Engagement Team worker, with the team mascot.

Answer Cancer featured heavily in pre-match publicity including on their social media and in the matchday programme. We also made an appearance prior to kick off with our logo shown on two giant flags waved in front of over four thousand spectators!

This link up was following our grant of almost £5,000 to the Salford Red Devils Foundation to promote cancer screening within the local community.
