Last week the Answer Cancer Engagement Team put down their presentations to pick up the mic at the local Ramadan Radio! The Radio runs over the Ramadan period, which is a very important month for all Muslims. The Radio is based in Oldham but covers Greater Manchester.

The team used this two hour opportunity to talk about myths and misconceptions of cancer. They also spoke about sign and symptoms, the importance of taking part in NHS cancer screening programmes and how early detection saves lives.

The radio was run in English as well each section summarised into Urdu.
